Every set of aligners is created by taking accurate impressions or models of your teeth. This helps to ensure effective repositioning of the teeth, as well as comfort. 

The aligners are specially crafted to gradually adjust the positioning of teeth by making small changes in their alignment. When worn as directed, for at least 20 to 22 hours each day, switching sets around every two weeks, the teeth are gently and gradually guided into their proper positions. Since they are made from transparent plastic, they are virtually invisible. The plastic is also smooth and thin for utmost comfort. 

They can be removed easily. So, Invisalign® aligners help to promote comfortable and effective eating, brushing, and flossing. Simply ensure that the aligners are stored safely during meals or when cleaning your mouth. This helps to minimize breaks or damage to the trays. You can also keep them looking great (stain-free!) by cleansing and sanitizing as instructed by your dentist. A denture cleanser or another solution or rinse our team recommends may be appropriate. It is not advised to use regular toothpaste because it can dull the aligners and actually promote the development of bacterial build-up on these appliances.
