Implants

Implants are well known and are now as widely accepted as any dental procedure. Whether you have one missing tooth or many missing teeth, dental implants can provide a successful solution and because they are fully supported in bone, they look and feel remarkably like natural teeth. A Life Changing Solution.

Implants are devices that recreate the support structure for teeth. Most implants are titanium or titanium alloy "fixtures" and replace tooth roots. There are many dimensions available, varying in width as well as length to optimize the surface area in contact with bone in order to maximize support of the teeth being replaced.

You who have been told that you do "not have enough bone for implants" may find that it is no longer true. Bone lost can often be safely reconstructed with various bone bank replacement materials and "growth factors" that cue your own bone to grow.

Although you have a number of restorative options for the treatment of missing teeth, none have been proven to be as functionally effective and durable as dental implants. In many cases, dental implants may be the only logical choice for the restoration of all necessary functionality of the teeth and supporting structures.

Permanent Dentures Improve Your Lifestyle

Implant supported dentures are snapped into place on top of dental implants. This provides a secure fit and hold, eliminating looseness or slipping without the need for paste or adhesives. Implant supported dentures are designed so that they can be removed for regular cleaning, or you can opt for fixed implant supported dentures, which function as permanent teeth. Either way, having dentures supported by implants anchored in bone provides the most efficient and secure way of eating all your favorite foods including corn on the cob and apples. And how about that steak!

There are many things that can affect dental implant cost. We will work hard to offer financing options to ensure you get the care you need!

Factors That Affect Cost:

  • How Many Teeth Are Involved

  • If There Is Bone Loss

  • What Type of Procedure You're Having

  • If There is a Sinus Lift Required

  • If There is Periodontal Disease Present

  • If You Need Extractions

  • If You Are Edentulous

  • We Can Bridge That Gap!
Bridges are designed to bridge the gap between one or more missing teeth and are typically comprised of two or more crowns fused together and attached to the surrounding teeth.

    Missing Teeth? We Can Help!
Dental bridges and partial dentures are common ways to replace missing teeth in adults. If teeth that have been lost are not replaced, the remaining teeth can tip, drift, or extrude into the empty spaces, causing both aesthetic and functional problems within your mouth. If you have missing teeth, visit a doctor for dental bridges and partials to determine if these options are right for you.

Why Should I Replace A Missing Tooth?

  • When a tooth falls out, the surrounding bone will atrophy or shrink.

  • Remaining teeth are then supported by a weakened jaw that can be narrowed and/ or shortened in height.

  • The remaining teeth then must do extra work and may shift through bearing the heavy loads imposed by chewing clenching and grinding.

  • The remaining teeth may then be lost.

  • Bridges and partials can increase your risk for tooth loss. Bridges may decay at the margins causing loss of the entire bridge. Titanium doesn't decay. Partial dentures often times impose pressure against the supporting clasped teeth causing them to loosen and even worse require removal. These same clasp retainers on partial dentures harbor plaque and are often the centers for recurrent decay further affecting the stability of the appliance.
